How it works

Learning path

Free and self-paced

Work through each level at your own speed. The learning path costs nothing.

Labs

Hands-on on ZCP

Practise in a sandbox on ZCP with free lab credits. You use the same console, CLI and API as customers.

Exam

Online, then proctored

Practitioner is an online exam under an honour code. Live proctoring starts at Associate. A beta exam sets the pass mark.

Badge

Verifiable results

A pass earns a certificate and a digital badge, each with a public verification page.

Training partners and collaborators

We cannot reach every learner ourselves, so we want partners to teach these courses. Training companies, college programs, user groups and consultancies are welcome to deliver ZCP courses in Canada and worldwide. Partners get their own space on the platform, with their own learners, branding and reports.

Where it runs

Everything will run on ZCP in Canada. Learner records, results, certificates and backups will stay in Canada, with disaster recovery copies in a second Canadian region. The learning platform is Moodle with its IOMAD distribution, open source under the GPL.
