The Console Now Wears Its Own Mark

The ZCP console moves from ZSoftly branding to its own, with new provider tiles, region and zone icons, and a project icon set customers choose from.

Log in to the console and you will see a different mark. The wordmark, the favicon and the logo on your invoices now read ZCP rather than ZSoftly.

Why

ZSoftly is the company. ZCP is the cloud platform. Until now the product carried the company’s identity, which is the normal thing to do when the product is new and the company is the reason anyone trusts it.

That stopped being the right arrangement. Customers run workloads on ZCP, they read ZCP documentation, they call the ZCP CLI, and they delegate domains to ZCP nameservers. The one place that still said ZSoftly was the screen they spent the most time looking at.

So the two are now separate, deliberately. ZSoftly marks cover the company, its advisory work and its communications. ZCP marks cover the platform. The company still stands behind the product, it just no longer stands in front of it.

What changed

The console wordmark, in both light and dark themes. The favicon. The logo on generated PDFs, so invoices and receipts carry the platform mark.

Alongside it, a set of icon work that had been waiting on the same decision:

  • Provider tiles for compute, DNS and object storage, redrawn to match
  • Region and zone tiles for Ottawa and Montreal, generated from the brand source rather than drawn by hand so the lettering stays consistent as regions are added
  • New app categories for AI agents and desktop environments, reflecting what people are actually deploying from the Marketplace
  • Project icons, sixteen of them, the set you pick from when you create a project: terminal, container, database, network, shield, rocket, bucket and the rest

The project icons matter more than they look. A console full of identical folders is a console you have to read carefully. A named, recognisable icon per project is the difference between scanning and reading.

What has not changed

Nothing about your account, your resources, your billing, or any URL. This is identity, not architecture. No action is needed from you.

The company name has not changed either. ZSoftly Technologies Inc. is still the entity on your contract and your invoice. What changed is which mark sits at the top of the product.

Where the marks live

If you build anything that references our branding, the rules are short. Use ZCP marks for the platform and ZSoftly marks for the company, do not combine them into a new lockup, and take the files from the brand kit rather than lifting them off a screenshot.

The company wordmark is lowercase. The product wordmark is uppercase. That is not a typographic preference, it is how you tell at a glance which one you are looking at.
